Jewish Life In Savannah, Georgia

Savannah has a thriving and involved Jewish community.  Our Jewish history here dates back to 1733, when a group of Jewish settlers landed here from Europe.  The Savannah Jewish community has been actively attracting new residents since then!  Each new wave of citizens enriches our population and keeps us strong and vibrant.

Kosher Foods in Savannah

With Savannah's growing Jewish population, the availability of Kosher foods is growing too. Many of our local grocery stores provide a Kosher section, with Kroger, located on Mall Boulevard, and Publix at Twelve Oaks providing a "grocery within a grocery" with a huge variety of Kosher items. We also have co-ops available with Griller's Pride and KC Kosher Co-op through Rambam Day School. We have several outstanding Kosher caterers who can provide for anything from boxed lunches to large formal events.
